After days of polling, i guess its pretty obvious that majority prefer BBQ, well on the venue issue, any1 volunteering theirs? I dun mind volunteering mine cz i guess most know d way here? But again my place is slightly further for those at KL, so do let me know ASAP latest by TOMORROW, OH and any idea where 2 get MARINATED CHICKENS? Other foods like marshamallow crab sticks hotdogs etc shouldnt be a problem tho.

OOH and i will need help on the GROCERIES , so i am expecting ppl to help me on SHOPPING..*erhem* ooh and those having problems with place to stay, lemme know as well =)

So we will make it a reunion dinner after 6pm/7pm at 28th Aug which is a Friday night, those that wana have activities before night, of course u r free to do so.

Well I am well awared that most of you actually stepped the first step of adulthood by WORKING(some even does unpaid work,cmon we study law, lets knw our rights ppl, we deserve REASONABLE wages and lifts =x) HOWEVER find yourself a day off, with any lamee reasons or whatsoever..cause we OUGHT or well we WILL have a gathering maybe somewhere ard the last week of August?

Wages / Frenz more imp? u make the choice..psst some might be ur busi partners in d future, so naturally NETWORKING is darn important..so just freaking abandon ur work =P

I am sure all of us want 2 catch up on old times, and to whom taht are flying soon, dis will be pretty much a farewell for all of you, so nuff said this is really truly undeniablely worth going.

Well i just confirmed the bookings for the ferry ride from Mersing to Tioman, we booked 230pm ferry for 17 person, they will be dropping us of at 'Tekek Jetty'(nt sure if i spell it right tho =x),where from there Berjaya authorities will meet up us and 'deliver' us to Berjaya Hotel.

By the way, the prom tickets are still with me, those that are going, do lemme know if u reached shagrila ya :)

Tioman Trip UPDATE

Sup peeps!

Walaa there goes our 1 and half year of A levels ! So whats the next happening?? Our class trip of course!!

Apparently there's some complication due to Transnational part of negligence, in the website they clearly stated it take us 3hours to be there (KL-Mersing) HOWEVER its in fact staggering 6hours of journey, believing it was 3hrs we were induced to take on the bus at 9am, where we intenmd 2 board a 230pm ferry. With the real time of 6 hours, we can only be there by 3pm which means we will miss the ferry.

HOWEVER, thanks to the amazing me and my negotiation skill =P we manage to arrange a bus ride in advance at 8am, that will enable us to be there at 2pm. Therefore ALL must be at the bus station before 8 where we will be leaving approximately at 8am, u dont wnat to miss the ship....

AND by the way..the bus are only EXCLUSIVELY catered forthe 17 of us..aint it awesome ? =DD

i feel the need to post because its so damn hard to talk through the cbox. so about the trip..

first of all, there's no point in going so bloody early because we'll be half dead if you want to go there at freaking 3am. so you want to sit there at the lobby and stone till we get to check in at 2pm? i think not!

and second of all, its damn dangerous. my mum says we're going to get robbed. we dont want that to happen do we? :) also, midnight bus is not safe. you dont know how reliable the bus driver is when the roads are so dark. i dont want to have to explain to your parents why their son/daughter didnt make it home. if you know what i mean. ;)

third, ivan said there's nothing much to do there so what's the point in going so early, really? and if your excuse is you want to go there early just because you want to watch the sunrise, i suggest you go to google images and search for sun rise. :) they have pretty pictures i assure you. besides, you can stay awake the next day and see it. plus, its not THAT romantic to watch the sunrise lah. we going class trip. not going with our other half also. lolwtf.

so i think we should just stick to the original plan and go for the 9am bus. its called a holiday if you didnt know. holidays are suppose to be fun and relaxing and not going there half dead at 3am in the morning.

the other thing is, i dont think you ppl are going home after prom right? cause its quite inconvinient to come all the way to kl again? you all staying in a hotel? anyway, im trying to ask my mum if we can get her friend's apartment unit so that you all can bunk in for the night of prom so that we can all wake each other up the next day and not be late. by the way, the apartment unit is the same condo where im staying which is only 10 mins away from the pudu raya station. i will update you people on that. :)

am i awesome or what? lol. ok dont answer that.

Below are the shifts available for the ferry from Mersing to Tioman, according to Mr Insider the ferry will consume two hours, and frm Pudu to Mersing,requres bus ride of 3 hours, so lets decide when shall we step off

15/6 Monday(Ferry Shift)

12pm
230pm
430 pm

An early shift such as 12pm would mean an early wakeup call since its 3hrs ride of bus, please do take note traffic conditions in the mornings are somehow unpredictable and we might not make it in time

Later Shift such as 230 pm would mean the opposite of its cousin(1230) but we can only reach Tioman ard 5, and therefore least leisure.

In generel:
Ferry(12pm shift)
Pj/Sj-KL(half an hr without jam) bus(pudu-mersing)- 9am-12pm Ferry(mersing-tioman)- 12pm-2pm Tioman( 2pm!)

Ferry(230pm shift) everything delayed 2-3hrs later

Good news! the rooms are available and 'Mr Insider' has processed the bookings for us, which includes roomrates,BBQ dinner(1 night), Ferry To and Fro ( RM133+RM65+RM80=RM278), other meals we will settle once we are there, i am sure you all don't want to be only eating hotel food lol, moreover meals there ain't just a penny it will cost ,lets hope there are restaurants nearby =x the snorkeling would be at our own as well upon considering the welfare of everyone.

As you all can see after dividing the rooms to 3 person, the superior room would be the most economical room(you are looking at a room rates of RM132 for two nights), so therefore we will stick and proceed with the bookings of 6 superior rooms, because there is a possibility June might be joining us as well, we will share the additional cost among ourself where it would be minimal of value, so no worries :)

Miscaellenous costs such as snorkeling,buffet etc will be dealt with seperately on the shores of Berjaya Resort as not all will find it appealing to their likings.

Apparently Paya Indah's fully booked till 20th June which would be very inconvenient, therefore we will be crushing our nights on Berjaya Resort. Thanks to some insiders we got our self some pretty awesome rates:

However it excludes lunch,dinner,snorkeling, and trasport fees

It would be more equitable if we get the snorkeling gears seperately instead of going by a package as some might be land-dwellers or perhaps nt convenient to be in the seas. In addition, it gives all of you discretion on what sort of rooms you want to spend your nights on with few ranges available.

Do let us know what sort of rooms are you looking for, so we can process the bookings ASAP. Why Tioman !

Sup people!

After polling sessions with numerous votes, it was pretty obvious that YES we are young people whom crave to test our limits by opting fore more activities and more nature! So we will be looking at resorts that tend to offer betetr facilities and better varieties of activities.

The question is WHERE? We are running out of time here, sad to say in malaysia we are only offered either highlands or beaches..WHO wants to go Genting and Cameron la am i nt right, so leave us with beaches. Few were proposed, Pangkor,Tioman, Redang etc. Seems we don't get along well with Pangkor with countless rejections, and i guess a reminiscence of 'bad experience' eh M***Y ?? :P

So its the final showdown between Lang Tengah & Tioman ! Speaking of Chris Allen & Adam Lambhert..ohboy still upset with the results, how can ADAM nt win LARRR. Back to the beaches.

No doubt ,Lang Tengah offers much more varieties of activities, ranging frm snorkeling, to scuba diving to whatever and a serenic view! BOY u shld google search it, WONDERFUL!, BUT located 8hours away ( by Bus) and 1hr away ( By Plane), where price ranges between rm480-rm650 which is off budget, and the 8 hours ride is pretty deterring..erhem exspecially to spoiled brats, including YOURS Truly :D

So that leave us with the option of Pulau Tioman! Its of affordable budget, 3 hours ride away, where i believe would be the preferrence of the vast majority, howeevr if compared to Lang Tengah it offers lesser activities, but well its the company that counts right?

So please let us know what you think, Tioman would be our first choice for now unless there are better options available, Please do let us know with EVIDENCE, MATERIALS, WEBSITE whatever, not just an empty statement for we really are running short of time :)

If there aren;t any objections, I would assume Tioman would be acceptable and start arranging it.

Okay, so in response to everyone's replies, it pretty much looks like a toss up between Tioman and Lang Tengah. Some haven't replied, some are still unsure, so I'll post up the full details of both and then you have to decide, okay? :P

First off, though, the trip will be from 15th to 17th June (Mon-Wed; 3 days 2 nights). If you have some sort of conflict with these dates, please please please tell us now! Otherwise we'll assume everyone is fine with it.

Hey Peeps!

Guess we are all pretty much burying ourself with piles of books or notes , so now take some time off,schroll down and start reading this!

First stop, a news where i find it pleasing ! Out of 18 of us, 16 are going for prom now !! See how well bonded we are? =x (although he/she who shall not be mentioned claims its HER fastest spending of RM14o) =p

We will start off with a survey now before approaching the 1st step of shortlisting varieties of beaches,highlands or whatever, never good with geography. Due to budget constraint, obviously we need to forgo certain qualities.So we are left with two options now:

Would you all prefer a least( not none) comfy and luxurious accomodations and resort but exposed to nature and complemented with thrilling and adrenaline rushing activities( Water and Land) OR would you all prefer to pamper yourself with a luxurious accomodation, compensating pressure faced during A2 and relax yourself in appealing resorts, hotels or scenery and beaches but with least activities if compared to the forst option?

AND is a RM500 budget reasonable ? Or would you rather save and minimise the amount of money and tolerating a not-so-nice trip? Please do let us know as we are out of time here.

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

The Pastors Ass

The pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won.
The pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in another race and it won again.

The local paper read:

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.

The next day, the local paper headline read:
BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS

This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid of the donkey.
The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.
The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day:
NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN

The bishop fainted. He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.

The next day the paper read:

Hello folks ! i am sure you guys had a jolly and fun holidays, well better rejuvenate as much as you can for in two weeks time, we are all back to our old school (or college if preferred) life lol, anywayz i am sure you guys are aware that we can't log in bb7 at the moment, might be due to the unpaid fees for new semester i suppose, so we are unable to download the revision assignment for accounts. Helooo citizens of PB3! its been a while isn't, i personaly din come in here for months =x. Nywayz as you all know we have a photoshooting session 2mr, thanks for reminding us Miss Pun & Mr Lai although it should be our dear mentor responsibility to tell us but well, blur as always, omgoshh hope she dosen't see this xD
We should be discussing this at class but well, i kinda forgotten, forgive me =.="..Minority suggested that we dress formally tomorrow, but after consulting the majorities, seems like many are againts this idea and it appears that some don't have the proper attire, so guess we got to change.
What u guys think if we wear a blk & white attire, as in first half of the class wears black, and the other half wears white, i think its kinda cool, we can mix and contra the colours, but well thats me xD need ur opinions..URGENTLY as its 2mr, or lets go for beach wear !! P.S. i thk GUYS shld opt for beach wear who knows what might we get to see ( Hint Hint) =P

Helooo ladies and gentlemen( not saying guys anymore), know we are busy for the recent examss...but you know what on the bright side, we still have 2days of exams and 2days till holidays~~ lol so you guys wana have a class trip or something,quite a few told me that they wana have a class trip or maybe some outings which is pretty workable, since our holidays isnt the national school holidays, hotels reservation etc shouldn't be a problem, so any suggestion on where to go? Tooo bad we don't have time to discuss it, knew its kinda hectic.

Well if theres any suggestions feel free to post it maybe we can have a poll or something to decide, looking forward to the court trip !!

My 5-month experience in Taylors n 0801PB3

Hey guys, I'll be leaving soon, this will be my last week in Taylors. So, nowadays I'm practically just stoning in my apartment when I'm not attending lectures dat I like with you guys. Before I leave, I'd like to share my short but sweet experience in this class with all of you. It will be long... I warned you!

My first day was hilarious. I knew nobody. And you guys are sooooooo sweet to go lunching with me. The whole 5 months was filled with lectures and endless tutorials yes, but it was fun. Well, apart from Ms. Pun's moody accounting tutorials and her emo-ness sometimes or the time where i juz dun get thinking skills.. The others were fun. Ms Sunthary is the best lecturer and mentor i ever had. Fun, motivating and fresh teaching methods, I liked econs before I go there, i liked it better now. She's FUN! No offence, but i sometimes don't really enjoy accounting tutorials, kinda depressing at times. But when she's not emo, she does make a really good lecturer. Nevertheless, i can't say I learnt nothing from her. I did. Thinking Skills was my major killer. I can't THINK. Mrs Brooke's classes were always fun. I really enjoyed it. No subjects i ever took in my life is comparable with this. It's just DIFFERENT. And i doubt i'll do anything like this anymore. Maths is lukewarm. No comments folks. Law is not bad, at first i cursed and swear when i took it. Then, it sorta grew into me...

The best part of my time in PB3? The peeps. Yes, u peeps. All of you.. Vivian, Chen Peng, Yoke Fen, Elyse, Alyssa, June, Ivan, Mandy, Saw Jin, Chun Haw, the twins, Kah Mun, How Ming, Aster (she left), Zhi Min, Bo Cheng, Reuben, Ying Jie, Keik, Chok Keong and Teck Sen. (I hope i didn't leave out anyone). Some I spent more time with, some I rarely talk to you all. Anyway, i attended tons of class and lectures with you guys. I'll miss you. Credits to all the people who spent lunch after lunch with me at AC, knowing that i'm vegie and need 2 go there to get food, u guys still accompany me. Thanx. I got my doses of butt-slapping for Vivian here. College life has been so fun for me. Freedom, independence and well, more freedom! And that pink van I love soooooo much that comes every Tuesday, I'm gonna miss that as well. 5 months with you guys was short but really fun. Believe me when i say i had whole lots of fun in Taylors then my entire form 5 year. I learnt how to have fun here, how to enjoy myself more. You guys made it all fun and worthwhile. Seriously. Too bad the trip to Tioman didn't work out. Anyway, if you guys going for any other trips, i hope you'll have tons of fun! Rmbr to take some pics!

I loved the LAN movie. I loved every moment we did it together as a class. I doubt if my LAN project next time can ever top that. Anyway, I HAD FUN. I guessed we all had. Oh yea, da stupid moments in college. I left my econs assignment, my handphone and god-knows-wat a couple of times that i need to leave in between classes to fetch them in my apartment. It was real fun. And oh yea, i hope you guys enjoyed my final LAN vid, the one i worked with Vivian, Elyse, Alyssa, Reuben and Zhi Min. Hope you will have a hell of a time watching that. My last piece of work and contribution to my group and my class.

I don't regret coming to join A-levels and leave after completing 1/3 of the course. It was never a waste. I rather do this than staying at home rotting, decaying and stoning at home for 6 months. I won't work, so... Well, it WAS great fun. Ivan, you are a great class-rep; many smart ppl in the class. Keik, I enjoyed tutoring you. Seriously, you are so corporative. Chen Peng and June, you can always call me to ask bout a/c, I'll still be doing that, and i'm very glad to help out. It was really 5 great months in Subang Jaya. Although confined to a 500 m radius, i still enjoy it. Very much. I hope we won't lose contact with each other. You guys still have 1 yr of sticking around with each other. I don't know where I'll end up. Don't know what I'll do, but I'll be missing you all. What an opportunity cost MAN! I hope it's worth it.

Nothing will change much after I leave, our class will still be joyous, all of you will do well in your exams. I have faith in all of you. Most of you will go places. Who knows, maybe we'll go to the same unis.. Perhaps I'll be sent to Taylors again of SAM or wateva, but I know i wil see you ppl again. I'll MISS you. Don't miss me k.. Jk.. DO miss me... :P

Tioman Trip

Thought I'd post up a bit on accommodation for our tentative class trip to Tioman. Might be easier than discussing in class.

We found a place, Paya Beach Resort, that looks erm... promising (for lack of a better word). Go look it up on Google, or check out their official website at http://www.payabeach.com. There are some tourist reviews on the place as well (Google it!) and they're mostly good.

Mostly.

They have packages for 3 days 2 night stay, inclusive of accommodation, ferry from Mersing (where our bus will stop) to the island, meals (2 buffet breakfasts, 1 packed lunch, 2 buffet dinners), boat ride to nearby island for snorkeling (does not include equipment for snorkeling, though - that comes out from our own pocket).

Depending on what kind of rooms we take, and if we share a room between four people, it ranges from RM250 to RM415.

Their rooms are chalets, fully air-conditioned with hot water. So they say.

Factoring in the cost for our bus rides from KL-Mersing and Mersing-KL (RM46), we can probably keep the whole trip between RM300 to RM450, again depending on what kind of rooms you want. That's inclusive of everything except snorkeling equipment, shopping, boozing (duty free store behind the resort!), and gluttony (for all you people who whack brunch, tea, supper and six snacks a day).

And if that's still too high, we can look for even ~~crappier~~ cheaper places to stay.

Never Judge A Movie By Its Name

So yesterday(Friday) as usual..is no doubt our favourite day of the week..jz 4 lessons and off to home~so quite a few of us Mandy.TeckSen,JieJie and an ex-chs friend,KahMun.Alvin,Vincent,ChunHaw,ZhiMin and me decided to watch a movie...a Ghost Movie~...so Kah Mun took a look at the newspaper and said why don't we watch DeathSentence a 18Sg movie..the word 'death' sounds like a pretty scary movie and its 18..so we were like alright lets watch it !

How Ming was 'kind' to let her driver tumpang us with the big car of her's to pyramid eventhough she wasnt joining us..tq ! And How Ming u know what we din talk bad about u...hmmm well maybe a little hehe =P...anyway we bought our tics and got in the cinema...unexpectedly noone even care to check our IC and just let us in eventhough we have quite a few 'under-age' people xD

So the movie started with a father taking a videoshoot of his family..the family's so loving...so we thaught ohokay...the ghost might be a member of the family..a family theme ghost movie...so we waited..and waited AND waited..so finally 1 of the son of the father was killed by a gangster..and the family got so sad and depress..its was quite an 'emo' scene..and few of us cried but think i better keep their names a secret hehe

After the killing of the son...we expected the son to be the ghost and finally start horrifying us..BUT nooo...the story is basically like this..the gangster killed the son...the father went chaos and killed the killer of the son..the killer's gang took revenge and killed the father's family..and the father brought justice back by killing the gangsters..............So where is the ghost ?!

So whats the lesson learnt??.....................Never judge a movie by its name !

first of all, we cannot deny the fact that we are great actors and actresses!!!! the most memorable scene that i seriously wont forget is when ruebern's sarong fell off when he was doing the 'merdeka shouting part'..too bad it's in siew fong's handphone...but i remember we laughed like mad..haha..really enjoyed throughout the week..i'm soooo happy to see all of u again..and i'm going to miss u guys very much...=( glad that i skipped my maths today to watch the video presentation.. ~~anyway, special thanks to ELYSE!!!!!!! u are our heroine!!!!!!! thank you so much to do all the editting..shooting..and stuff...it's really really wonderful!!!!!~~ (Elyse: Eh I shy lah you all keep saying like that :( it's a class project kay :) so everyone deserves equal credit!)

Helooo people !!! BRAVO and CONGRATULATIONS !! Our video was splendidddd...i m sure all of u will agree..the other classes seems to enjoy it too..woohoo! Our efforts were paid off after all =) The sounds of other classes students praising are still ringing all around my ears eventhough its around 1-2 hrs after LAN lol ! It was greatt thing we chose video instead of stage performance..would be a disaster if we screw out in the s.performance..every1 seems natural in the video haha...and you know what..we are all immortalise =P The video will be preserved for the next ganeration of taylor-ians !

Special thanks to elyse for having the trouble of doing the subtitles, slotting in the right songs and slides, and makin the video into such a masterpeice,the directors/storywriters that is SiewFong.June Cheng,Alyssa,Bryan for brainstorming to write out the great script..AND of course all of us the Actors/Actress for making the video livelyy and funny...din noe our class got quite a few talented actor/tress lol..it was a big success !

We will be having break at Little Taiwan tomorrow during breaktime to celebrate and threating Elyse and the directors for their efforts put in..try to be there !

Reshooting Tomorrow (Monday)

Heloo people...so after various feedbacks..it have been decided we ARE shooting tomorrow that is Monday after school from 3pm to 4.30pm..basically it involves ppl doing the riot scene and of cz the MERDEKA scene which we havent really done...as usual please BRING along the equipments or outfit needed for the act...and we have to remake the flags so it would be much appreciated if anyone bring along marker pens,mahjong papers,paint etc...so thats all for now cya guyz 2mr =)

Hello again...well this is just a brief report regarding the feedbacks from our friends...FOR NOW everyone of them think that we should reshoot the video due to its poor quality...looking forward for further feedbacks..will come to a conclusion whether reshoot or not by Sunday..have a goodtime!

Converting the LAN Video Clip

Many came up and told me that the file cant be opened... so maybe u guyz will nid a converter... i will put up the link here:

After downlading from the link install it and when u got free studio 2.2, choose the mobile option on top and after that choose 'convert 3GP to AVI or MP4' format.. shld b ok by than =)

First stop..our LAN presentation ! Thanks for showing up yesterday for the LAN video shooting...know that it caused inconvenience for some of you..anyway all of us did a great job yesterday..so woohoo clap2...BUT unfortunately we might need to reshoot the video well just for the market-riot scene and MERDEKA scene..everyone did great in the act but well...the video quality isnt that good..i m sure most of you will agree after looking at the email elyse sent us( thank u Elyse !)here is the link incase u guyz didnt receive the email... http://www.sendspace.com/file/39r184

As u can see...its the riot scene by the way..we dun hav a merdeka scene yet..the video is kinda blurry well it cant b blamed coz v werent using a videocam nor a camera but were using a handphone(thank u siewfong) to do the video shooting..due to a stupid mistake of mine..sryyy!
Anyway i was thinking of reshooting because it will be hell blur when we present it dont thk any1 will enjoy but it despends on u people..if u guyz think its okay..v will jz use tat video for LAN...coz if v r shooting we might need to stayback at monday(getting sick of that =P) or maybe even sacrificing our lunch break cause the deadline is at next tue/wed IF not mistaken..will confirm with teacher..we will be doing the merdeka scene at monday (compulsory) since we dun have a merdeka scene and might reshoot the riot scene if u guyz wan it 2 b reshoot.

So please let us know whether u guyz wana reshoot riot scene by the weekend..u can inform us through the blog by posting comments on the chatbox...or inform the ppl directing..they are june cheng, siewfong,alyssa,elyse or u can inform me too...thank you !!

P.S. if any1 of u including directors and actors/tress wana make some announcement or amendments..u r more than welcome to post in the class blog =)

Hello pb3-ians !! welcome to our one and onli class blog !! *cheers ....sounds lame lol....anywayz i was thinkin that we should have our own class blog so we can get ourself updated with much convenience exspecially during the weekends. and of course keep in touch with each other..some small discussions for example shopping trip,movies,clubbing(uh hm) or just normal chitchatting etc can be done in the chatbox....this is a class blog so each and everyone of u plzzz feel free to post whenever and wherever u wan to ! i have sent u guyz the google acc required to sign in the blog to do posting blogskin changing etc ...or if u duwan 2 just stay put and have a look at the class blog or post comments in the chatbox provided for small discussions..will be posting tonnes of stuff here in the future so make sure u drop by here regularly ! thank you~
